Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry is a multi-denominational caring program grounded in Jesus’ command to love one another. Those who are hurting receive love and support through one-on-one confidential caring relationships, with care provided by trained people from all walks of life. The ministry is named after Stephen, one of the first deacons of the early Christian church, commissioned by the apostles to care for the needs of people in the Christian community. Everyone goes through difficult times. Having someone to care, to listen, and share God’s love can help you get through the confusion, stress or loneliness that you may be experiencing. Griefshare

It hurts to lose someone. Griefshare is a place to find a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Shepherd of the Hills periodically initiates GriefShare groups. Call the church office if you are interested in journeying with one of these groups.
